How to Play
Eight steals, one career, one verdict. Here's the whole road in five moves.
Invent your kid
Choose a name, a homeland from 48 nations, a role from central defender to centre-forward, and the number on your back. Home turf decides your first league — and the national shirt you'll spend a career chasing.
Work the board
Legends step up one by one. From each, you lift exactly one gift into an empty slot: pace, shooting, passing, dribbling, defending, physicality, skill moves or weak foot. No refunds, no do-overs.
Respect your role
The overall rating is weighted by position. A centre-forward lives and dies by shooting; a central defender barely notices it. Hunt the stats your role feeds on, not the shiniest number on screen.
Ride the seasons
You kick off at a small club in your home country. Play year after year; loud performances make bigger clubs pick up the phone. Tougher leagues punish you harder — and pay your legacy far more.
Face the verdict
At the final whistle the engine weighs it all — goals, titles, caps, cups, Ballon d'Ors — and names your tier, from Peladeiro all the way up to O FENÔMENO. Then run it back with a different build.
Board craft: three street rules
First rule: lock your bread-and-butter stats early. A centre-forward still hunting a shooting value at slot six is gambling his whole career; a defender with an empty defending slot is already retired. When an elite number appears in a stat your role loves, grab it — even if something flashier sits beside it.
Second rule: never spend a steal on decoration. A 96 in dribbling looks gorgeous on a central defender's card and moves his rating almost nowhere. The engine only pays for what your position actually uses; everything else is jewellery.
Third rule: in Classic, the blind swap is an emergency exit, not a toy. It's blind — the next legend can be worse. The strongest runs spend it once, late, when the board holds nothing for the final open slot. Or never spend it at all.
Career craft: when to jump
Climbing is the whole game. Camp out in a soft league and your goal tally swells while your legacy starves — reputation, rating growth and the Ballon d'Or all live upstairs. When a clearly stronger league comes knocking before you turn 27, the answer is usually yes.
Just don't jump on day one. Leaving the academy for a giant while your rating is still raw can leave you warming a very famous bench. One or two loud seasons in a middle league first builds the platform the giants actually pay for.
